AGCO Corporation has updated the Challenger E Series with more comfort and operating ease.
“Challenger gives row crop innovators, small grain farmers and specialty application farmers improved performance, comfort, versatility and reliability with the MT700E, MT800E and MT900E Series tractors,” AGCO says in a release. “The 2016 MT700E, MT800E and MT900E Series lead the field and deliver increased productivity for row crop, broad acre, and specialty crop farming practices.”
AGCO says a new hood design provides improved airflow into and away from the engine compartments, which allows the engine to run cooler and improve efficiency. Both the MT800E and MT900E Series feature new hood lights, which are designed to increase visibility.
New Challenger E Series owners will receive a free one-year subscription for AgCommand Advanced. According to AGCO, this puts the operator in control of monitoring the fleet to maximize uptime and schedule routine maintenance.
Extreme Ag track is now offered for the MT700E and MT800E Series, which is designed to offer better traction and less compaction on abrasive soil conditions, side hill conditions and wet areas.
Optional new LED lights provide six rear facing cab lights and two side facing track lights.
The new monitor bar with RAM mount and integrated power strip offers more access and opportunities for customization to view monitors at different distances, angles and heights.
Finally, Challenger E Series tractors benefit from a new sound system, featuring KICKER speakers and subwoofer with Delphi radio and integrated Bluetooth wireless microphone.
