Mahindra North America (MNA) and sister company genZe partnered to make a donation of a Mahindra mPACT XTV 750 S and two genZe eBikes to the city of Phoenix, Arizona, the host city of its sixth National Dealer Meeting (NDM). Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton accepted the gifts on behalf of the city during Mahindra’s opening session at NDM. The utility vehicle will be used to support the city’s sustainability programs and the eBikes will be put to work in the growing Phoenix police department.
“As part of each National Dealer Meeting, we find a way to give back to the community we visit. We worked closely with the Mayor’s office to determine what would best serve Phoenix and, as part of our Rise philosophy of driving positive change, we provided the city with a utility vehicle to be used as part of their composting and green organics initiative,” said Cleo Franklin, Vice President Marketing and Strategic Planning, Mahindra NA. “In addition, we learned there was a need for reliable, high-quality personal transportation at the Phoenix Police department, leading to the donation of two genZe eBikes.”
“We greatly enjoyed hosting Mahindra, its dealers and partners in Phoenix. It was a pleasure to attend the meeting and have the opportunity to personally thank Mahindra for these gifts to the city. The utility vehicle will be of immediate use to the public works department in the composting operation which is a major component in our sustainability program,” said Mayor Stanton. “The eBikes from genZe will be a great addition to our Police department providing a unique form of transportation that will be beneficial for our officers patrolling the urban districts of Phoenix.”
The Mahindra National Dealer Meeting brings together Mahindra’s partners, suppliers and dealers to exchange ideas and solutions to enhance all sides of the business for the benefit of the customer. It provides an opportunity for networking, sharing best practices and learning about new products and corporate programs.
