Mahindra USA, its dealer network and partner KMW LTD teamed up with Operation Finally Home, announcing plans to build a new home for a wounded Army soldier.
Army SPC Brad Wilson, his wife Lisa and their three children were surprised by executives from all three organizations with the news of their new home at Mahindra USA’s National Dealer Meeting in Nashville, Tenn.
Mahindra USA, along with its implement manufacturing partner KMW LTD, are providing the financial support for Operation Finally Home to build a home for the Wilson family in Nashville. Mahindra USA and Operation Finally Home began a partnership at the 2011 Mahindra National Dealer Meeting when a corporate donation took on a life of its own as dealers from around the U.S. began adding their own contributions to the cause. Since that announcement the company has continued to be actively involved with Operation Finally Home.
“Brad and Lisa are working hard to overcome the obstacles life has thrown at them. In the Mahindra Rise spirit we want to do what we can to support their efforts and help them overcome the adversity they face in the coming years,” says Cleo Franklin, vice president, marketing and strategic planning, Mahindra USA. “Mahindra is dedicated to driving positive change in the communities where we work and live and are pleased to have our partner KMW LTD, support our efforts.”
“SPC Wilson was selected to receive a home both in recognition of his service and sacrifice to the United States and the proven and recognizable efforts of he and his family to improve their difficult situation,” says Rusty Carroll, vice president, Operation Finally Home. “We value our relationship with Mahindra and KMW LTD, they are making a difference in the life of this family.”
